Journal Entry #1

March 2nd, 2011

Dear Diary,

This is Katarina Bishop writing.  I am very stressed up right now.  I am having a lot of trouble with my father and also Arturro Tacomme.  My father has apparently “stolen” 5 paintings from Arturro Tacomme.  I am supposed to return all of the paintings in 19 days!!  How can I do that? I’m only a teenager for goodness sakes!  But… Hale is helping me… which is really GREAT!!!  He is looking even better lately.  I am having a lot of trouble getting on his good side though.  Ever since Gabrielle has been around he has been eating out of the palm of his hand.  They are little two little love birds!

Anyhow, I need to think about how I’m going to solve this painting problem.  I think that I will go back to Uncle Eddie, and talk to him about getting more help.  He doesn’t seem to think going after these paintings is a good idea…. But I need to save my father!  My father is in danger and I cannot let him get hurt!

I am very worried that I will not be able to find and return all 5 paintings in 19 days!  Although I have a hunch that Arturro may have stolen the pictures in the first place.

Uh-oh, I have to go Gabrielle is coming and I don’t want her to see all my private writing!

Till we meet again,

K.B
